First, reboot your modem and Netgear router. To reboot, first cut off the power supply for Modem and then Netgear router. After that use an ethernet cable. Connect this ethernet cable to your modem. Locate the port labeled as ‘internet’ on the Netgear router.

Now use another ethernet cable. Connect the second ethernet cable to your computer with the Netgear router. Locate the port labeled as ‘Lan’ on the Netgear router and connect the cable in this port.

Now power on your modem. Now, wait for the next few moments till the modem lights become stable. Then power on your Netgear router. Wait till next few moments till the green lights of the Netgear router become stable and green.
